An unusual cow/deer (?) hybrid spotted across the nation has surprised many and sparked the interest of wildlife enthusiasts and animal lovers alike. Reports have been flooding in from Arizona to Virginia about this amazing creature. Is it a deer or is it a cow? Most believe it is a new species or hybrid engineered by mad scientists wanting larger deer that taste more like beef. Local wildlife biologists do not think this creature is a result of mad science but rather a hybrid. Representatives from the USDA and Multi-Ecological Appetite Transhybridizers Society (MEATS) declined to comment.

Of the thousands of photos received, these seen here appear to have captured the creature at its most docile behavior. Dr. Yani Boniterre, an avid bird watcher, spotted the creature last summer in a backwater reach of Lake Springfield, Missouri (lower right). He took the picture but only developed it after seeing the recent reports on several Internet news sites. "I didn't know what to think when I saw it. It looked like a bloated deer." One visitor to the Virgina countryside was startled (lower left) when one jumped out of nowhere and ran off. The photo was taken by a fly fisherman in an unknown waterway. The fisherman was so startled at the size of the beast he lost his favorite rod. "Gosh it was a big one."
