Deer Camp: Day 3
Nov 10, 2009: After a trip to town and a new bow string I was back in the stand by noon. I had purchased some doe urine and began to spray it around the tree. Now wait. Mostly sunny with temperatures in the mid sixties. Shots fired down in the hollow again and a while later a deer came crashing through the bramble just out of sight! Wait some more. Ok, the deer was in sight and soon in range. The first shot was off and the deer jumped around and left only to return a minute later. Again in sight and range. The second shot seemed to be on target and the deer bolted away. After searching for any signs of the deer no luck. It was getting dark so I came to the realization that I had missed.
